Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply when you access or use PipFoxy, including its public browser tools, account features and AI tools. By using the service, you agree to follow these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant service.

1. What PipFoxy provides

PipFoxy provides public browser utilities for text, developer data, images, creator checks, calculations and local generation. These free tools do not require an account and are not affected by an AI credit balance. PipFoxy also provides account-based AI tools for prompt, project, website-design, document and creator workflows when authentication, database and model services are configured.

Features, limits, models and formats may be added, removed, corrected, disabled or changed. A route or roadmap item is not a promise of permanent availability.

2. Accounts and Google sign-in

PipFoxy accounts use Google sign-in through Replit-managed Clerk Auth. You must provide a valid verified identity, keep your session/device secure and use only an account you are authorised to control. You may not share access to evade limits, impersonate another person or obtain repeated promotional grants.

An account is personal, not a team or organisation account. Development and Production identities may be separate. PipFoxy may require re-authentication and may restrict an account that is suspended, deleted or cannot be verified. See the Privacy Policy for the basic profile data received.

3. Acceptable use

You may use PipFoxy for lawful personal, educational or commercial tasks. You must not:

• violate a law, contract, confidentiality duty, intellectual-property right or another person’s privacy;
• introduce malware, harmful payloads or content intended to compromise a device, provider or service;
• probe, bypass or interfere with authentication, model allowlists, credit accounting, rate limits or other safeguards;
• replay requests, create accounts or automate use to obtain duplicate promotional credits or avoid limits;
• overload, scrape, disrupt or degrade PipFoxy or a connected provider;
• use AI tools for illegal abuse, deception, impersonation or unauthorised surveillance;
• misrepresent PipFoxy, its output or its brand; or
• attempt to reveal system prompts, API keys, authentication tokens or hidden configuration.

4. Your content and permissions

You remain responsible for text, files, screenshots, documents, scripts and other content you process. You must have permission to use and send it to the relevant providers. Do not upload confidential material, personal data, trade secrets, credentials, API keys, private keys, authentication tokens or highly sensitive information unless you have assessed and accepted the processing risk and have lawful authority.

Existing free tools process content locally under their tool notice. AI submissions are sent to OpenRouter and the selected model provider. Instructions found inside an uploaded document or screenshot are treated as data and do not authorise unrelated actions. PipFoxy AI does not browse the web, execute code or call external tools in this milestone.

5. AI output and human review

AI output is generated probabilistically and may be wrong, incomplete, inconsistent, misleading, outdated or unsuitable. Models can hallucinate facts, overlook changes, misunderstand screenshots/documents, produce insecure instructions or create copyright/platform-policy concerns. A more expensive model does not guarantee a better or correct result.

You must review output before relying on, publishing or implementing it. AI design feedback does not guarantee accessibility, usability or conversion performance. Document Comparison organises text but does not find every legal implication or provide legal advice. Creator Pack must not be used to reproduce protected works or make misleading claims. 6. PipFoxy Credits

PipFoxy Credits are virtual usage units, not money, cryptocurrency, an investment, stored value or a bank balance. They are non-transferable, cannot be withdrawn, exchanged or sold, and have no cash redemption value. A new eligible user receives one grant of 100 promotional testing credits after successful account creation. Signing in again, changing profile details or retrying a failed request does not create another grant.

During the controlled AI beta, an eligible signed-in tester may collect a daily promotional faucet grant of 100 Pips (100 PipFoxy Credits, representing US$0.10 of metered AI usage) once per GMT/UTC calendar date. The server—not the browser—determines the amount and GMT/UTC claim date. Availability resets at 00:00 GMT (00:00 UTC) and may be changed, paused or ended with the beta. Repeated or concurrent claims for the same account and date do not create additional grants.

Promotional/testing grants may be limited or corrected where issued in error or obtained through abuse. Purchased and subscription credits do not expire during the initial launch because no expiry policy is implemented. Retail pricing may include provider expense, platform cost and margin, and need not equal the metered usage value. Credits are granted only after a verified PayFast server notification.

7. Estimates, reservations and AI usage charges

PipFoxy shows an estimate and may reserve a conservative maximum before an AI run. The estimate is not the final charge. Actual credit use varies with the selected model, input, output, images and provider pricing. On completion, PipFoxy uses reported OpenRouter cost where available, rounds upward only to the nearest micro-US-dollar and releases the unused reservation.

Local validation, authentication and insufficient-credit failures are not charged. A provider failure is handled according to actual provider usage where known. If a request may have incurred provider cost but a final amount is unavailable, PipFoxy can keep an appropriate reservation and mark the run for reconciliation rather than guessing. Credits are not deducted twice for the same settled request.

8. Models, providers and availability

Model providers, model versions, prices, capabilities and availability can change and are not guaranteed. PipFoxy uses a server allowlist and does not accept arbitrary model IDs or user-supplied provider keys. It may disable a model or AI tool when pricing, modality, safety, connectivity or settlement cannot be verified. It does not promise a silent substitute.

OpenRouter, model providers, Clerk/Google and linked websites are third-party services governed by their applicable terms and privacy practices. PipFoxy does not control every provider interruption, model output or retention decision. Public free tools should remain usable independently where their browser-based architecture permits.

9. Tool-specific responsibilities

Image processing can be lossy, alter colour/transparency and remove metadata. Keep originals and inspect downloads. Creator/platform checks do not guarantee ranking, reach or acceptance. Calculations require independent verification. Passwords must be stored securely; QR codes require real-context testing; Random Picker is not a certified regulated draw. Formatting data does not establish that it is safe or trustworthy.

10. Intellectual property

The PipFoxy name, fox mark, website design, original content and application code are protected by applicable laws. Except where a separate licence permits, you may not copy, sell, repackage or present them as your own. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your input. Rights in AI output can be uncertain and affected by input/provider/third-party rights; you are responsible for lawful use and attribution.

11. No professional advice

PipFoxy and its AI tools do not replace legal, medical, financial, accounting, tax, engineering, cybersecurity or other qualified professional advice. Important contracts, accessibility decisions, security changes and consequential business/publishing choices require appropriate human review.

12. Suspension, enforcement and deletion

PipFoxy may suspend or restrict accounts/runs when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect users or infrastructure, enforce these Terms, reconcile credits or comply with law. Suspension does not create a new welcome grant if the account is later reactivated.

Signed-in users may submit the explicit deletion action in Account Settings. Application data is deleted or anonymised according to the Privacy Policy; minimal ledger, audit or abuse records may be retained where genuinely required. PipFoxy records the request before attempting provider deletion and reports failure rather than claiming completion if provider or application cleanup cannot be confirmed; unresolved requests require retry or support reconciliation.

13. Saved workspace, versions and exports

Saving is optional and must be initiated by you. You retain responsibility for and ownership of your lawful user-created content; these Terms do not transfer ownership to PipFoxy. You grant PipFoxy only the permission needed to store, decrypt, display, search and export content for your account. Original uploads and screenshots are not stored in this release. Editing or restoring saved text creates a new version rather than overwriting history.

Plan-based limits apply to projects, saved items and content bytes. PipFoxy may refuse additional storage when a limit is reached but does not automatically delete content merely for exceeding a limit. Deleted projects have a limited recovery period, remain counted during that period and are permanently purged afterward. You are responsible for protecting decrypted export files after download.

14. Promotions and referrals

Campaign-specific limits, dates and eligibility rules apply to promotional credits. Referral credits are granted only after the referred user’s first verified production purchase qualifies and survives the configured hold; signup alone earns nothing. Self-referral, account cycling, spam, misleading claims and manufactured qualifying purchases are prohibited. Refunds or disputes can disqualify a pending reward.

Promotional and referral credits are virtual service units with no cash value, cash payout, guaranteed reward or employment/partnership relationship. Reasonable abuse controls may place uncertain activity in review; a network signal alone is not proof of abuse. See the Promotion Terms and Referral Terms.

15. Email and support conduct

Service-critical transactional notices may be sent when needed to operate your account. Marketing is optional and off by default. Support tickets must not contain passwords, card details, malware, threats or abusive content. Attachments are not supported, and private project content is not shared with support automatically.

16. No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PipFoxy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness, non-infringement, security, model quality, credit estimate accuracy or error-free operation. Nothing excludes a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PipFoxy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or loss of data, profit, revenue, opportunity or business continuity, arising from use or inability to use the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent law permits.

18. Payments, subscriptions and refunds

Prices are displayed and reconciled in South African rand. PayFast hosts sensitive payment collection; PipFoxy does not receive card numbers, CVVs or card expiry dates. Payment methods, international-card availability, currency choices, provider fees, issuer fees and exchange rates can vary and are not guaranteed. A return-page redirect is informational and never grants credits.

Monthly subscription credits are granted after each successfully verified billing cycle. Cancellation stops future renewal after provider confirmation, does not claw back existing credits, and preserves plan benefits through the already paid period. No credits are granted for failed or missing recurring payments. Model access and AI run limits vary by plan and are enforced server-side. In-cycle plan switching, proration and automatic upgrades/downgrades are not offered in this launch.

Refund requests follow the Refund Policy. Cancellation is not automatically a refund. Credits are non-transferable virtual service units with no cash-redemption value, and misuse, payment disputes or abuse may require review or suspension of paid AI access without removing access to ordinary public free tools unless a broader abuse suspension is justified.

19. Changes, questions and legal review

These Terms may change as PipFoxy develops. Material revisions are reflected by the date at the top. Questions can be directed through the contact page. Also read the Privacy Policy, general Disclaimer and AI Disclaimer.

These plain-language documents should receive professional legal/privacy review before significant commercial use or a material change to accounts, AI providers, retention, advertising or payments.
