Refund Policy
This initial policy is designed to explain PipFoxy’s operational process clearly. It requires professional legal review before a full commercial launch. Consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
Credits and confirmed payment
PipFoxy grants digital AI usage credits only after a PayFast payment notification has been verified server-to-server. A browser return page is not payment confirmation. Credits are virtual service units, not stored money, and have no cash-redemption value.
Requesting review
Refund requests are reviewed individually. Include the PipFoxy order reference and a clear reason through the authenticated billing page or billing support. Never send card or bank details. Used credits generally cannot be restored and refunded automatically, and a refund is never represented as issued until the external provider result is confirmed.
Duplicates and payment problems
Report suspected duplicate payments and payments that failed but appear charged. PipFoxy will compare the order, verified ITN, provider reference and append-only credit ledger. A pending browser state does not by itself prove that money was collected.
Subscriptions
Cancellation stops future renewals after PayFast confirms it; already granted credits remain and plan benefits continue through the paid period. Cancellation is not automatically a refund. No monthly credits are granted for a failed or missing recurring payment.
Approved refunds
Approved refunds may be completed through the PayFast dashboard or a supported, tested provider operation. PipFoxy records the provider result and uses a compensating credit-ledger debit where appropriate; it never edits the original grant and does not automatically create a negative credit balance. Partial refunds use integer ZAR cents and an explicitly reviewed credit adjustment.
International payments and timing
Base prices and reconciled amounts are in South African rand. International refunds may differ in the cardholder’s currency because of provider or issuer exchange rates and fees. Processing time depends on PayFast and the customer’s payment provider.
